The Boat is the Coolest Site!

The boat is a site that my friend told me to check it out.  When I first saw this, I was like, "Wow!! It'll be so cool if I can be able to make a site like this!" and got inspired a lot.

This site has a lot of animation and sound effects, and makes you want to go on scrolling down the page with an exciting feeling, "what's going to happen next?".
While you scroll down, the background music changes and there is a sound effect that follows what you are reading as well.  There is even a point that you hear a sound of a fire lit up and the animation at the back's little light goes on at the same time.

The pictures has depth using a lot of layers and the way they use transparency is very cool. I learned how to make pictures go swinging and zooming in and out, but this was the first time I actually noticed a site that's using that effect. They are never too much and links with the story and it's always readable. The background color changes to black and white, when there is no animation, and I think it shows the darkness and the light and that is better than one solid color.
