Customize This!

I decided to customize my blog and I thought there weren't going to be much options, since this is a free template, but I was amazed how much you can customize this blog.
These are some of the stuff I explored.

Inside the Layout, it is possible to rearrange gadgets.
From the Header on the right, you can put blog descriptions and add an image to it if you want, but I preferred to keep it simple without an image. From the Page Body, I was able to edit more details about my blog posts. I changed the number of posts on main page from 7 to 2, so It’ll say Show more, and it’ll look like I have a lot of posts. I unchecked the part that shows who wrote the blog, because I’m the only one who will update this blog, and also unchecked the Share and Location.  I also unchecked the Popular Posts and Featured Post, because there is not enough post to be featured. There is a place in the footer where you can put copyright, if you have one.

I unchecked Share my profile, from Edit profile and added an image of a moon and a jet stream that I took from my backyard. There were more spaces to write the favorite books and about your own interest but couldn't think of one right away so I skipped.

From the Themes, I changed the layout to Contempo, and chose the theme color as orange, and changed the background image to a texture. I changed the font to Cantarell. From the advanced settings, it was able to change the text color for profile, background, separator, gadget, sidebar, and navigation and more, but I just liked the way it looked so I didn’t change anything. It was interesting to know that there are so many options just for changing the font colors.
